Casa de La Luz is a bright, colorful, warm, and inviting home located in Colonia San Antonio, less than a 20 minute walk from the main jardin and Parroquia San Miguel Arcángel in the heart of San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. It is is the perfect home and location for one or two couples to establish as a base for exploring the enchanting and magical city of San Miguel de Allende.

The architectural features, along with a variety of art, serve to create an environment that both treat and stimulate the senses.

Casa de la Luz is a reverse plan with an open concept living/dining/kitchen located on the second floor. The home takes advantage of its location and attitude to incorporate a variety of windows and ports that capture sunlight and flood the home with an abundance of light.

The street level of Casa de la Luz includes a front terrace, laundry, den (or bedroom), a large bathroom, and a bedroom.

The hillside location facilitates a lower level guest suite with its own terrace and wall fountain.

The lower guest level suite (or “Grotto”) features the private courtyard, interior sitting area, bedroom (configurable as 2 twin beds or 1 king), full bath/shower and gas fireplace.

A partially covered roof terrace is easily accessed by way of the spacious staircase. The roof terrace offers expansive vistas and a perfect place to observe sunsets, or take in the lightening displays during the summer thunderstorms.
